QueenB83 will hereafter be known as "Its_n8_son." Will we see a new skin? A new personality?

This move continues the tradition of passing on the QueenB83 handle to the newest noob in the world. Who will embody the Queen next???

I shut down the computer this morning to install some Windows updates and then got distracted by my kids and forgot to turn it back on. For those of you that enjoy a little Minecraft with your morning coffee, I apologize. It was down from about 7am to 10am today.

I added a link for Screenshots on the navigation bar. This link goes to a DropBox folder where you can view the images. Also, if I know your email address, I can share the folder with you so you can upload your own screenshots. If you don't have DropBox and you want to add your screenshots, just sign up. Once you're signed up, send me your email address (to justin@twobluenope.com) and I'll give you access to add files to the folder.

To create a marker sign on the google maps, you can either put the word "Marker" on the first line of sign (as before) or, just put a tilde (~) on the first line of sign text. Either one will work.

So far I'm the only one with signs on the map-- let's make some markers!

I just upgraded my Comcast modem, so we should experience fewer connection drops now. Speedtest.net showed the same down speed (25mbps), but my up speed (which is what matters for Minecraft), went from 3.5mbps to 3.8mbps. (Not a huge improvement, but it helps.)

I apologize to anyone who tried to log on around noon today and whiffed (Aaron!) The server was offline for about 20 minutes during the modem swap.

I've added markers to the maps. There are player icons (the last place you disconnected), beds (the bed where each player last slept), and signs (markers). Rather than show every sign in the world, I'm only showing signs where the fist line of sign text is "Marker". That way, you can create special signs that will show up on the map.
